dr. beth triplett: The connecting of dots is intentional – linking small steps in the short term while seeing the big picture in the long term. Like stringing pearls together to make a necklace, connecting the dots is a philosophy and way of behaving – a pragmatic way of approaching life – whether that be supervising a staff, completing a dissertation, buying a gift or advancing a project in the workplace.
