#1070 daylight

One of the best things about summer is the extension of daylight hours.

At this time of year, we are adding about one minute more of daylight in each 24 hour period.  Adding one minute in every 1440 is an imperceptible difference, yet cumulatively it makes a big impact.

It is only May, and already we are waking up to sunshine and seeing daylight hours long enough to walk in the evening without aid of flashlights or street lamps.  All from one minute more per day.

What can you do for a minute each day that will add up and make a difference?  Is there a habit you can cultivate just by tending to it for a brief period each morning?

If you think it won't matter, just look at the sunshine and think again.
