#1310 lighthearted

My sister has the mantra of "why be plain?" I thought of that when I saw this vehicle in the parking lot.  They have turned a truly functional item (rear windshield wiper) into an element of joy.  It is simple, inexpensive, low maintenance and yet brings smiles to many.

What can you do in your world to emulate this concept?  Can you modify your home or workspace to add an element of levity?  Is there something you can do to add joy to your voicemail greeting or Twitter profile?  Do you have a cartoon that makes you smile on your refrigerator?

There are so many serious issues to be addressed in our world.  Try to infuse some lightheartedness where you can!
