#1279 free advice

In the song Aaron Burr, Sir from the musical Hamilton, Aaron Burr offers Alexander Hamilton some "free advice" when the two first meet. His counsel: "Talk less, smile more."  

It reminded me of the comments made by our Young Alumni Achievement winner when he accepted his award.  Zachary Breitbach said that he has achieved success because he "works hard and builds good relationships."  

His advice seems similar to that given by Burr in the 1700s, and is still appropriate today.  What part of the equation do you need to make as your focus?
